2012 Adopted Family!

It was an honor to meet the Stroik Family and offer them over $850 in gifts for Christmas! Thank you to my 2012 customers for making this possible... your business contributed to the funds needed to get every item on their Christmas list. Thank you also to my loving husband who has a huge heart for giving and makes it possible for me to do what I love!

I met this family through a Facebook fan... if you know of a family in need during the holidays, please contact me through my business Facebook page towards the end of 2013!

Meet Jordan (14), Madeline (10) and Megan (8), Michelle (mom, not pictured) and Dave (dad, not pictured)-- The Stroik Family.

HERE IS THEIR STORY:
Dave and Michelle Stroik moved to Fort Collins in 1999 with their young daughter Jordan. Four years later they gave birth to their daughter Madeline (Maddy), followed two years later by their youngest child Megan. Dave works for a local plumbing company to support his family. In December 2012,  Michelle will graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts, specializing in Elementary Education. This last year, Michelle has been volunteering through the Poudre School District (PSD) completing her practicum and internship for her degree. She is currently applying for several jobs and plans to be employed by the New Year. The Stroik family has been continuously working to improve the quality of their lives through education, music, global awareness, and in their volunteering efforts such as Santa Shop at Riffenburgh Elementary and through Realities for Children.

The Stroik daughters all attend PSD schools, are actively involved in various enrichment programs such as the Fort Collins Soccer League, Girl Scouts of America, Running Club, and extra curricular events such as Odyssey of the Mind. Jordan (14) is caring, smart, and a great big sister. She loves reading books and spending time with her family playing games. Jordan is motivated by her interests in literature, art and, music. Madeline (10) is observant, funny, and loves to laugh with her friends and family. Maddy is interested in sports, animals, and loves to craft and create original artwork. Megan (8) is the youngest and has more energy than most kids her age. She loves to run, swim, bike, and play sports. Megan is inspired by fashion and design, choreography,  writing stories, and acting. All three girls are outgoing, have a deep appreciation for Nature, love being creative, and helping others in need.
